This banquet will be in celebration of successes and an opportunity to raise funds to continue important work in the community around: education, housing, healthcare, immigration, and youth development. At this event, we will be honoring leaders who have partnered with APNC to reduce the impact of the foreclosure crisis on our community and keep families in their homes. Recipients of this year’s award include Sheriff Tom Dart, Chicago Sun Times Columnist Mark Brown, Senator Richard Durbin, the tenants of 4914 N. Spaulding building who’s actions led to a county-wide moratorium on renter evictions from foreclosed properties, and other community leaders who have moved issues forward that effect our community such as education and immigration reform.
